I know,I know – this topic has been covered before by some comedian. The joke goes something like this:
I read the instructions on the back of my shampoo bottle the other day
and it said “Lather, Rinse, Repeat”. I finally got out of the shower when
the bottle was empty!
Har Har!Very funny. But also, what a great marketing ploy. Think about it, you wind up buying twice as much shampoo, just because they told you too.
As many of you know, I run an online candy store and I think that maybe from now on I should include a note in every order telling people they should “Eat candy, Repeat” – that could make for a great year!
